So I got to play a Slash AFD VOS today - I wanted to like it but it wasn't for me.

So what does everyone think will be next on the LP release schedule ? ............some more artist endorsed models, some historic pieces, or something in the "collector series" like the Melvyn Franks??

I'm thinking the Slash Spaghetti incident Les Paul, and then the Use your illusion 1 and 2 signature Les pauls. LOL Just kidding.
Idk it would be interesting to know, I was jonesing for them to make a Mike Ness signature Les Paul, but I think they made an affordable alternative for $849 that'll get me close:

all I would need are the stickers to make an "inspired by" Mike Ness guitar.

Neither of my parents have signature or inspired by models yet.

How about unknown artists signature models... part of the fun would be to figure out who the hell the artist is.

Norlin Reissues. Everyone will complain because they won't have authentic pancake bodies.

I kinda of like that they are expanding the Studio line... It would be nice if they offered more options like different pickups, hardware, maybe some different finishes on more affordable Gibson USA LPs.

I thought they'd started that a while ago anyway

:laugh2:. That wouldn't surprise me.

Personally I still want to see Gibson do something with James Hetfield wether it's a Les Paul, Explorer or Flying V.
