Hello everybody,
I'm new in this forum, so this is my first post. I've bought this lovely, sweet sounding Greco a couple of days ago in the Netherlands. From the first time I saw her in an advertising I fell in love, jumped on the train and payed my best spend bucks ever:).
I did some research about the type Greco, but I'm not sure.
Can somebody help me?
I've took some photo's to help with the identification.
Thanks.
Juupp

(sorry for my English if it's not correct...I'm Dutch:wave:)

I can't see the pickup backs well enough to see if they are embossed or plain.
Is there an embossed number below the ink # ?

The best chance of making a model determination would be :

1- seeing if it is a chambered model by looking for hollow sections from a pickup cavity. It would be an EG-480 or lower model if hollow, EG-500 to 900 if solid inside and a plaintop.

2- pickups can help determine the model.
Look for any embossed pickup model below the ink stamp. If there is none, posting pickup resistances might help. Just plug in your guitar cord and measure the unplugged end of your shortest cord without touching metal with your fingers. UD, U-1000 + U-2000 are not embossed.

3- I think EG-600 and up plain top models had sculpted rear body cutouts along with norlin style pancake bodies and maple necks, not 100% sure in every case,
or what lower models had.
