My last electric setup?

A MIM Stratocaster, through a Boss TU-3 tuner, through an Ibanez Tube Screamer, into two Peavey Bandit65 amps sitting side-by-side in a custom road case so that they hit me at about knee level.

Love the sound of those Bandits with a Strat! They get an airy, but still ballsy, sound for playing country. And they're relatively cheap and plentiful. They're not good for a decent rock sound, though; which is why I don't play Les Pauls through that setup.

I don't play electrified much anymore, but when I do I always use that setup for country.

you should get one.
a true valve preamp in a box.
i would hurry though, it seems they discontinued the product
i like mine so much i already bought spare mini tubes.
they should last forever but i bought a pair just in case.
it can be noisy if you don't use a regulated power supply.

The red amp is a seventies-something 100W Simms-Watt hooked up to the 1960B-cab. I don't use that one much. It has killer cleans though.

Right now, R9 + Fender 57' Twin Tweed + Catalinbread RAH Love that Jimmy Page/Royal Albert Hall tone ! Just sounds so sick Makes me sound almost good.

I watched Catalinbread promo ("Since I've been loving you") and that sound is so healthy I almost envy you and your gear. Making me think about some weaker hums than mine 498T/490R roaring combo.
