Take a peek - besides the suspicious lack of any real photos, the logo is really off to the left...

1972 Gibson SG Deluxe | eBay

Very suspicious listing. If you say repairs were done, you need to say to what.

Looks like a typical Norlin-era SG, to me?

Btw, it's legit.

My 74 has such a light serial stamping that it shows up only at certain angles.

Also, photography is not a skill possessed by all.

"It has the best feeling neck I ever felt".
Wouldn't you keep it then? Oh well.

The body of these particular models with the electronics "pickguard" had a tendency to break somewhere in that area. That could be the repair.
There is also a crack near the D tuner on the back of the headstock. That could be the repair also.
The models form that "era" are not particularly sought after.
I personally hate the small block inlays, among other things... ( the whole guitar!)

Thanks, I have owned one and my headstock was nothing like that poor Gibson placement. I just saw it and thought wtf about the Gibson logo. I actually love the SGdeluxes and want to get one again (had to sell the last one due to bills).
