Which is the worst Les Paul copy ever? There are far too many LP copies to consider all of them, but is there one that's reasonably well known, sold widely, but is a bit steaming pile of dingo droppings?

In my opinion the pre-Wilkinson Vintage (V99 ?) with the bolt on neck was a steaming pile of pants.
Once Trev Wilkinson got involved though the Vintage brand did get a lot better.

A '70s Hondo LP copy.
I had a choice between a Hondo and a Aria Pro II LP copy bolt neck as my first ax.
The Hondo had a neck that was WAY OUT ACTION, super high, not even playable! NEW!
So Id have to say that was the worst LP copy Ive ever played. Maybe it was just that guitar but MAN it was bad.
In fact I even blamed my Aria for my poor playing back then, until my teacher, Rodger Wilson:cool:, and I switched guitars.
He had a 57 GT that was sweet, I had that Aria, We switched for one lesson only to have him TEAR UP the Aria....with me still suckin  even on a Gibson??!!

Maybe it ain't the guitar ?? Just the guitarist? Cause he had a Marshall too...not the amp?

IMO the infamous chinese "suprome" knock-off... flame fretboard and all, a piece of shit that deserves a place in the history books.

I saw a Vintage V100 at the NEC this year on the Fret kings stand which looked appauling. The fret inalys were all over the place. I was shocked that someone would have put this particular example on the Fret Kings stand.

whats about jack & danny ?
Pieces of junk, as far as I'm concerned. Beginners gear in the very low price section.

yeah i know it was more kind of a statement rather than a question ; )

just wanted to add 'piece of junk' to this discussion^^

ps: welcome, i am a new member as well :)

Epiphones.....WORST....EVER.

Welcome! There goes your credibility, though.

There are MUCH WORSE guitars out there than Epis. I have a couple of great Gibsons - and my Epi is a nice guitar, even in comparison it is viable and decent.

Does SX make a LP copy? I can tell you the worst Tele copy I've ever played. (Hint... two letters, first is an "S" - second is "X").
