It seems both regular les paul customs sweetwater have come with rosewood fingerboards.

Is this a sweetwater special order?

Or are Gibson doing this so people actually start buying them again. My local Gibson dealer I was chatting to even said their 2 richlite customs have just sat there for about a year with literally no interest from anybody. His words not mine.

they are still listed as richlite in the specs.

The customs now come with Richlite fretboard, I think it has been that way for the last two years.

I think the ebony in the description refers to the color of the guitar. In the specs it says Richlite.

I for one would not consider an upscale model without the traditional ebony fingerboard.
At entry level price, absolutely! Gibson needs to put this guitar back in the USA line priced just above a Traditional, IMHO.

And please go back to the weight relief, no chambering.
