What is mean these Characters under the pickups

Hello,
I am newbie in MyLesPaul.com

I got a Les Paul Standard 2008 root beer top,
It is second hand guitar, so i wanted to know
this is real or fake,
and this is just "STANDARD" or "STANDARD PLUS"

so I had opened pickups,
then, i found some word under the pickups,
what is mean?

RO ???

LPG+ ?? (i don't know that "STG+" is correct? or "LPS+" ?? "LPST" ???)


and I can know this made in 2008 by "Serial number on backside of head"
but, why this guitar has no "Grove Locking tuner" and "Neutric Locking Jack" and "PCB board" like common "2008 Les Paul Standard"

RO probably means Root Beer, if that's the color of your top.

LP6+ means Les Paul (Standard), 60s neck, Plus top.

Is the serial number close to the beginning of the year? I believe you have. Pre-2008 model Standard that was made in early 2008.

Yeah, new models are rarely rolled out on the 1st Jan.

Nowadays they have a stamp on the headstock to denote the year specs it comes with, regardless of the date of completion.

Yeah, the neck pup cavity is the finish code, the bridge is the model.

That's normal for most gibsons, so rest assured.

It's real.

Next time do your research before buying secondhand. That way, you won't be unsure if you got the real thing. More people need to do that...
