Being new to this forum, I don't know what some of the verbage means.

What does R stand for in say " I've just sold my R8".

As stated the "R" stands for reissue.

R4= 1954 reissue
R6= 1956 reissue
R7= 1957 reissue
R8= 1958 reissue
R9= 1959 reissue
R0= 1960 reissue
