Oh, jeeze... Gibson amp, too.
Didn't realize what I had, there; it was like a Deluxe Reverb.
The guitar was a real dog, though; such weak output it wouldn't make a wah-wah 'wah.'

Long gone, now; but of course now I know what to do to fix it up. Gah!
It was old, man, Bakelite® knobs with brass inserts; machines were Grover's Pat Pend.

really early on in my GAS obsession i had a univox shortscale jag-a-thang. loved the neck on that guitar.

I had one of their Univox amps back in the sixties. It had a 12 inch speaker, and an open back, but was an underpowered piece of shit.

When I was in the Navy, a guy owed me $40 from a poker game and offered me his Univox black Les Paul. It was kinda cool, even without an amp.

Later I saw a Gibson LP hanging up high in a pawn shop: “huh. Gibson makes these too?”
