The Tribute+ is a great guitar. I noticed the rainbow coloured you refer to, have Pau Ferro fretboard, while the faded cherry and black cherry (the colours of my preference on the Trib+) have rosewood. But nothing wrong with Pau Ferro.

I like the Green One as well, which I think is like an Aquamarine.

Yep!
there's a consumer for most every product made.

Personally I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a new Epiphone.
Would rather get a used Gibson.
But again, that's just me.
And used Gibson's don't come with that type of finish.
So if that's what you like, fine.

But let me be a real Bitch here:
(In a high pitched voice)
"Do you really need another guitar?"
:D

Looks like it wants to be an Al Di Meola model, but I bet it's a great guitar. If it was me I'd get it in iced tea...

I am very happy with my Trib+ in Wine color. I followed your link and saw they have a Deluxe in wine for $539 demo. That is more than I paid for my 60's trib+ brand new when I got it. These guitars have really had price increases over the last few years. Wow!

I am just looking for something to keep over at My Fiancee's place, so that I can jam early in the morning or late at night when I stay over during the week or the weekend. I am bringing my Boss Katana over there with a guitar.

So the answer to my question "do you really need another guitar?" is:

"Yes, Honey, out of my love for you I will spend on a new guitar to make sure
I am so comfortable at your place that our Love will flourish in ways unheard of..."
Good move!

She is a nurse and works nights, sometimes 3 days straight 12 hour shifts. She is pretty run down and worn out after 2-3 days in a row and sleeps a lot sometimes trying to recover so to speak. Guitar Center is only 2 miles from her place and She is like just go to Guitar Center and look around while I sleep for 2 more hours.

I am going to NAMM in a couple weeks, maybe I will just wait until then and see what looks sweet that is coming out this year.

....my Midnight Sapphire Tribute + was a gorgeous LP (sold to fund another purchase) .....If I was in the market for another I would def consider that Aquamarine.

Really great epiphone les pauls right there, I bought a used one recently and bonded with it theres a thread in here on it, the person I bought it from played a different epi les paul more, a white lightning signature model, that ones incredible aswell

Neck is a slightly flat slim taper, kind of a blade

Sound is all you want and more from a les paul built right with quality versatile tone pots to a 57 + set

Yep, that's me and here we are. lol

I kind of like something different like this, where I also like the Limited Edition Aquamarine green one as well.

Hey that finish is blue green like some of the older 2000s Les Paul Classics Epiphone made in Unsung Korea, they used curly veneer ontop plain maple caps too but I dont remember the neck tenon, this one I sold to my friend after I cleaned it up so its still around, saw it the other week actually

I did abandon the idea of getting this Tribute Plus and decided to look at all different kinds of guitars, since I was just not sure what I wanted. I ended up getting a Gretsch G5230T Electromatic Jet FT in Firebird Red.
