Kansas Song for America
Yay! There's at least one fellow Wheathead out there! :D

Prog from the Heartland! If you only own one Kansas album, I reckon this must be it.

McIntosh's former speaker guru recommends this as both a great show-off-your-system recording, and also just as some really really well done electronic music.

I've always been a sucker for pipe organ, the more bombastic the better.

I'm something of an iconoclast when it comes to Floyd, and would take this over Dark Side any day, mostly for historical reasons (My big bro took me to Ocean City when I was a kid, and the only cassette he had in the car had this one one side of it. We listened over and over and I was permanently hooked. Many years later I played this for my father in law on a road trip to TN, and got him hooked. :) )

There's some ridiculously awesome music coming out of Japan these days, and this is some of the best of it.

Finally, these fellas got lost in the shuffle behind U2, and that's a shame. RIP, Stuart, you left too soon.

Someone else love Wagakki Band too! I post them all the time in the movie thread. Suzahana the singer actually made a bunch of neat solo videos lately where she's at home just playing piano and singing. I should've saved them because it looks like they got pulled off of youtube. (copywrite violation? Even though they're her songs? )

Sadly I can't find any records, just CD's.

None of the current Japanese bands I like seem to release on Vinyl except for Babymetal.
