I also have a Ibanez Thermion tube head that I use for another project/practice.

(trying to find a pic where I'm using my Ibanez 2350 and my Ibanez 2342)

-Rebuilt 1982 Marshall 2204 (with classictone transformers) into a 1960B (Going to, eventually, upgrade the cabinet to either one of those HW Marshall cabs, or an Emperor 4x12)
-Epiphone Valve Jr. with an Eminence Alpha 8 speaker and JP1 mod (Would eventually like to sell it and save up for a silverface Fender Champ/Vibrochamp)
-Orange Microcrush

You wont believe it but I,m going thru a late 70s H&H Studio 100.

Its been everywhere with me and I,ve had to replace a couple of pots but its semi-retired now, like me but I,ll never get rid of it.

so many memories :)

Considering that I am saving to buy a trainwreck ;-), I made my own out of an old stereo valve record player inside a speaker box with a horn and 15" driver. The balance control is between the horn & 15".
Has a tone control and can even switch it to am radio!

Good nuf' for now thru a distortion pedal.
Cheap crunchy granola - about $30.

For me it's a stock Crate "V" Series 1512 since my chick found it at a yard sale a little over a year ago, now my Crate GT-80 DSP sees little use.

My main guitars are a Fender Lead III, Fender Lead II, and a DeArmond M-65 though for Surf music I use a newly acquired '94 Fender MIM Squier Series SSS Stratocaster.

I'm playing through a piece of history: A Trace Elliot SpeedTwin C50. Great, great tone through this thing. If you ever run across one of these, snap it up.

Marshall JCM800 4010 combo from 1985 with a Classic Lead 80 speaker.
Mullard, Amperex and EI preamp tubes. Old pair of Tesla (not JJ) El34 for power tubes. I just bought a NOS pair of RFT El34s, can't wait to try them!

Line 6 Spider IV 75 and a tiny 9v, 3w Orange micro crush with strap buttons on the side. The little Orange is a lot of fun and can sit in my lounge and be ready for an impromptu practice at a moment's notice. The Line 6, oddly, sounds a lot better. :p

It's fun to play around with tubes. Those EI 12AX7s are a good match with Marshall amps imo. Don't think you will like the RFTs better than the Tesla's. We need an update when you tested them!

Crate V30 - 30w class a, 1x12 celestion combo.

Had it modded by SHO amps in Syracuse, NY by combining the schematics of a Mesa Mark II, a SOldano Lead 60 and the existing circuitry to make it a monster.

Kinda sounds like a super marshall now.
