Hey everyone. I’ve got a 1996 mik lp300-standard. Was sold as a standard. Pretty sure it’s NOT A STANDARD because of the bolt on neck. All original. Any ideas? It was sold as a standard paid $350 with shipping off reverb. Did I get screwed? Epiphone did make a lp300 standard. I just wanna know if I can get my money back.

Yes, yes you did IF it was advertised as a Standard. Worth, on the high end is what you paid for it.

On eppiphonewiki. They DID sell a lp300-standard. Which mine is. So the seller although being shady. Didn’t technically lie. Lame.

Sad days. I’ll be lucky to get $300 for it. I’m out $200 bucks. Just had it set up. That’s how I found out.
Although epiphone wiki shows that they did in fact make a lp300-standard. So technically the seller didn’t lie. So no refund for me.

I must surely be obtuse. I see 9 photos, with one of the Wiki page. But I don't see the Reverb link anywhere.
Forget about it.

The seller did refund me $80. So I’ll take it & lesson learned.
Have you tried rubbing it off. From the photo you posted, it looks like it could just be glue or some other residue on the surface.

pretty nice guitar, yeah maybe you payed a lil more for it but...you could do a lot worse I figure. Unless you were going into looking to make a flip...
which yeah, LP 300's arent a big mover and money maker i figure. But if i payed like 100 too much for a guitar i really like, which i already have done. no big deal, ive wasted more money at bars with nothing to show for it the next day but a bloddy nose and hangover (years ago of course)
