Hi all, I'm looking at a Vos R7 Gold top. I've not seen the serial number yet but the owner sent me a copy of the Coa which read "LPR7 70737".
Can anyone tell me if this looks right? The seller also says its a 2010 again can anyone confirm?
Thanks

Sounds right. The five digit number has the clues. The first digit is the year being reissued and the second digit is the year it was built. Note that an R7 produced in 2000 could have the same serial number as an R7 built in 2010. There are ways to tell the differences if you aren't sure of the year of manufacture, though.

Except 2000 R7s could not be VOS, VOS started sometime in 2006. My 2010 is 919 (IIRC) and is a great player and quite light. It's worth checking it out IMO.

It's a 2010 57' 7 (57') 0 (2010) the rest is the run #.

As stated here if it's a VOS then it's a 10'
Other then that I would need Pic....

Thanks for the help guys. I bit the bullet and bought it, real nice. The only blemish is to the top where someone has dinged it with a lead at some point. It would be interesting to see if this could be repaired.

They don't stay pristine forever no matter how careful you are unless it never leaves its case. I wouldn't sweat it.
Now,.... time for you to post a NGD with Pics! (Front an back please)

so VERY true....I really hate being the first....its nightmarish to me. I must have broke something when I was little and got in a lot of trouble and suffered alot of guilt from it. I can't even go near the glasswears in stores...true story.
