Young Wolfgang gets to see a world class band disintegrate before his eyes. Guess there some lessons from the road in there, eh?

That is sad, especially for Wolfgang. I'm sure it is an amazing experience to share the stage with your father... But it is probably absolutely crushing to watch it fail and have no control over it.

I hope the best for all of them.

I read that supposedly somebody broke their finger.

As much as that sucks, that is a way better situation than the other ones...

I saw VAN HALEN in,1979,and in 1980 in the SUPERDOME,and in MISSIPPI GULF COAST COLOSEUM..... THEY ROCKED!!!!! their sound was so fresh and unique, kinda went down hill after that, sold out commercially, this only my opinion!

I figured this would happen. Its gotta be tough to watch your dad degenerate into a hopeless junkie again... You'd think Eddie would gain some backbone and kick the habit for the sake of his family. Anything else is just selfish bullshit. He can afford the best of the best rehabilitation. Some of us had to do it the hard way, he doesn't have to.

I wonder how much they had to pay Shure to license that giant microphone?

I thought that was just for crowd control :headbanger:

He's probably frustrated with himself. Happened to SRV a lot in his druggie days... Was a big reason to why he got sober.

I don't miss those moments. There are nights when you're high and you play the best you've ever played, and that is the hook... Makes you think it was the drugs that did it... So you keep trying to find that 'magic formula' again and again... :(

You got that right bro!

Sometimes people credit the high! In reality, the magic always comes from the heart....:hippie:
