Those are very cool. Much harder to paint than a guitar.

^ I didn't paint/build that one, it's a stock photo. If i do that one I hope it comes out as nice (I plan to take my time on it)

check out dry brushing and wet washes if you don't know about it. :thumb:

it'll help with the details.

^ Yep, airplanes and cars here. (no figures) Mostly WW2 aircraft. Man I spent some time on them! Come to think of it, I don't know what became of them. Well a few met the burning embrace of a firecracker.

That looks pretty sweet! I've always liked action figures.

I've never painted one myself but that seems pretty cool.

McFarlane has some awesome figures (like the old Metal Gear Solid ones, and pretty much all of his other figures too).

At the risk of thread drift, I do choo choos myself. Mind you, these are not kits, some research required and it soaks up the time.

I used to as a kid. I'd build all sorts of Airfix models - Spitfires, Lancaster Bombers, Harriers. I used to love doing a camo paint job. Trucks, tanks. There'll be more than enough paint and supplies in a hobby store. Acrylics are easy to use.

Later on I got into Halcyon kits from things like Terminator and Aliens.
These days a lot of it seems to be the crazy Japanese stuff that I have no context for. :dunno:

Not mine, but this sort of thing:
