Hi,

I have a Vintage V100PGM Lemondrop guitar that I love!
I want to change out the pots for CTS ones.
I have researched and found out I need Metric A500k pots for both volume and tone (A pots apparently have a smoother roll off sound).

What I can't find though is what height they should be to come through the body correctly.
They seem to do short, medium and long ones?????

So please help if you can.
Thanks chaps

You can use SAE spec pots if you want to but you will need a tapered reamer to enlarge the holes. I do it all the time. Just work slowly and carefully from both inside the cavity and then from the top of the guitar.

As for shaft length it is probably the short shaft, but pull one out to see for sure before you order. You also can always get long shaft pots and put an extra nut on the shaft that would sit on it inside the control cavity to shorten the length sticking out of the guitar top.
