I used to own a Vintage GT which I totally upgraded (all hardware and electrics). A great guitar and template for upgrades. The only reason I sold it in the end was because the neck was just too skinny for me and I couldn't bond with it. If it was a slightly thicker profile I would still have it now.

They are excellent in standard form too though and the wilkinson pickups sounded great. I just wanted to modify mine.

Great value though here are a few pics after i upgraded it with the following:

- Bigsby trem
- Gotoh locking tuners and roller bridge
- Fake58 50s wiring harness
- Gibson Soapbar P90 pickups
- Gibson pickguard and bracket

have just bought a used one of these, a lefty v100 nice looking dark cherry burst,

Vintage guitars had always slipped under the radar, had never ever considered one but found this one by chance, played it, an it just felt right.

very nice guitar, loving the wilkinson pup's, I'm liking this guitar so much
