so i was gonna buy a Vintage V100 (Flame Iced Tea) for £200 and i was wondering how strong a "set in neck" is.

From the description ive heard its just glued in so is that a weak neck? and what about in comparison to a bolt on neck? Also if any of you own a Vintage v100 please could you tell me how strong the set in neck is and if they break easily or what. Thanks:)

If its a well made instrument with a good tight tenon that should be plenty strong, add in some good quality wood glue, id be impressed if you could break the join before the neck snapped at the head/in the centre.

I assume your not playing Baseball with it? Should be fine!

In normal conditions (temperature, humidity,) and with normal string gauges (in standard E tuning everything thinner than 12/13 gauge) every neck should not be warped and should not "leave" joint. I personally didn't seen any les paul with neck coming out of joint.
It should have scarf joint two piece (or 3 piece with heel?) neck, but many luthiers claim that scarf joint (volute also) is much stronger than one piece neck.

So I think you should not be worried.

I had a vintage v100, and neck is fine.
Dont really know why you would ask that.
I have yet to hear a story of someone picking up a guitar and stepping on stage with only the neck. :D
