Cool! you may want to install a new TR, something like a Hotrod from Stew Mac.
I think it would be a major upgrade and the price it not bad eighter but, it depends on just how much you're willing to put into the ole' gal.:)

Unless it would drop right into the original slot, which has to be impossible, I have zero woodworking skills and zero woodworking tools. We'll see how the clamping affection the neck before I get too much further into it. Thanks again.

EDIT: also, I think the original trussrod is only 17.5" long.
