Cool! you may want to install a new TR, something like a Hotrod from Stew Mac.
I think it would be a major upgrade and the price it not bad eighter but, it depends on just how much you're willing to put into the ole' gal.

Unless it would drop right into the original slot, which has to be impossible, I have zero woodworking skills and zero woodworking tools. We'll see how the clamping affection the neck before I get too much further into it. Thanks again.

EDIT: also, I think the original trussrod is only 17.5" long.
