Vintage SG Questions

I posted this in the "Other Gibsons" section but realized I might get more info here....thanks in advance...

I am looking at a vintage SG soon...supposedly '69. Two questions based on pics:

1 - mini humbuckers OK?
2 - half pickguard OK?

A quick search tells me mini humbuckers were introduced in the lates 60s, but I want to make sure before I make the drive. Anything else I should keep my eye out for? My SG knowledge is limited at best.

Thats not a 69. Looks more like a early to mid 70's.

My '75 SG Special. Those minihums sound fantastic in my opinion, though the neck is very narrow across the nut. A lot depends on how much he wants for it, a '69 Special with P90's is worth a lot more than a '75 - I paid about the same as a new Faded SG Special when I bought it about 6 weeks ago.
