Vintage P90 infos

Hi guys. I found this old P90, could you help me to date it? It reads 8.79k, and I'm thinking of install in my Les Paul Junior SC

I doesn't look like a typical 50ies Gibson p90. So my guess its another brand like Guild or Harmony where i have seen similar pickups.

It is a Gibson pickup but from the late 40’s. It was probably in a Gibson lapsteel. I have 3 late 40’s BR-9’s and they have pickups that look just like that. Probably won’t fit in a Junior as they’re slightly larger. But decent pickups!

Yes, Gibson did use the 3 ply material for bobbins, pole screws with split washers for bobbin mounting to the baseplate, and cloth leads on coils, at a time.
