I know others have posted about this before, but I went Saturday and focused heavily on the Les Pauls.

It really was a religious experience.

Page's 1990ish Classic TransPerformance Prototype. So historically inaccurate! Bet it sounds like crap compared to a post-2013 Reissue.

Keef's 9 3182, the one that started it all. Look at those flames! Looks like a reissue, totally not vintage looking.

I took a million more photos, but you get the idea. Just incredible. The exhibit runs through the end of this month, and for anyone who has a chance to go I say don't miss it. Really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

#1's neck may have a black screw bobbin. ....or it could be caked full of crud under the cover. Got more pix of that part?

The low E saddle on it is filed WAY back to intonate. High E saddle and screw are replaced. Looks like the bridge pickup ring and switch tip are probably replacements, also, ya? Certainly the wax-potted bridge pickup is. lol!

Thanks a lot for sharing these Dtt! If I were still in New York, I definitely would've gotten to the city to check-this-out.

:cheers2:
