Vintage Hondo information?

So the neighbor knows im a guitar hoarder so when he helped a buddy move who was going to donate a older guitar he grabbed it for me.

Has a very gibby like headstock x1 german made Schaler bridge pup and a Japan copy? Kahler trem. Or were they made in japn then? Bolt on neck that was shimmed with x2 picks.

Rough job in cutting it out for the trem but definitely plywood.

Any info on the trem or pup? Seems like the most value on this

kinda like the looks of it. most were two pickup models made in Korea. a few early ones may be from japan.

Looks like the same Kahler copy that I had on my Hondo H-1
It was also plywood and Korean.

Ok, if my fading memory serves, most Hondos were made in Korea by Samick. The Professional Series were made in Japan by Uncle Matt and Tokai from 1980 or so. The one you show, Korean by Samick early 70's. Poor thing got hacked up by a near sighted beaver.....
