Nice shape, no soft spots in the wood at all, orig handle and latches all work great, hinges are great and the little tab is still attached to the accessory pocket. Throwing out 2500 net to me. If interested, happy to provide more pics.
Some tolex wear on rear and front edges, but overall really nice shape. Not musty and wont stink up a room, however if you stick your nose in the case, it does have the faintest 'vintage' smell... enough to season the holy grail dave johnson singlecut I was using it for. Latches are tight... not floppy. Some masking tape residue on the bottom and a piece of white masking tape with #527 written on it. Someone else had a big collection... not me.
PS- Just for fun I included a pic with some modern variations. The middle case used to house 'the' Linny! 9 1948 ... got it from JD Simo so I keep it around for the mojo!.
