Titebond original, fish glue, and Hot Hide Glue for things that may need to be removed. UF Glue, Titebond original, Titebond II, Titebond III, Epoxy, CA (super) Glue and Carpenters wood glue for things I do not want to ever come apart. I do use a certain glue for a certain application usually, especially for guitar building.

Regards Peter.

PS - does this answer the question?

I use Titebond III for most glue ups, epoxy for major fills [on figured wood] and super glue for small defects.

Are you talking about two glues to bond the same bits together?

multiple glues on the same surface will generally work against each other and reduce the bond. Especially if you have 1 glue that failed and put down a second after - but mixing them doesnt really work that great either.

Admittedly I've never specifically mixed cyanoacrylate and aliphatic resin, but m pretty certain it would affect the way the superglue sets for sure. and probably even the way the aliphatic sets up as well

For repairs...absolutely. The repair specifics dictate which glue is best. I always have on hand
-Thin CA
-Medium CA
-24 hour West System Epoxy
- Titebond original
- Higgins and Milligan 192 gram strength hide glue
- Carpenter's white glue (PVA)
- Ambroid or Sigment solvent based cement

I have contact cement in the shop, but have never used it for guitars...just tolex on amps etc....

I use subfloor adhesive for everything...
This man don't fuck around!
Same for me except for fish glue which I use for fish.
If it's that specific, it must be the best for the task.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Thanks for the knowledgeable people with the right information!
