Upgrading my marshall Haze cab

Hey guys! SO I have an orange tiny terror that I play with a Marshall Haze 1x12 cab, and im currently playing with an epi standard (waiting for my new 60's tribute gt to come in) and I was wondering what kind of upgrades I can do with a cab?

I like the way it sounds when the volume is at a quarter but if I really crank it the sound can be a bit brittle and it isn't as smooth as i'd like it. Would I be better off upgrading to an orange 1x12 or replacing the speaker in my marshall cab?

Any cab or speaker recommendations greatly appreciated. tanks!

your best and easiest bet is to change the speaker. i have a marshall haze combo and it has the same speaker so i know what you mean. i love my tiny terror with a celestion g12h30 or v30. i just ordered an eminence private jack. i let you know how that sounds when i get it tomorrow. those are some different speaks you could try.

I agree with Alex, replacing the speaker is cheaper and easier then buying a whole new cab. I would highly recommend the vintage 30 from celestion

So would I, or the WGS Veteran 30 as a less expensive alternative.

Excellent choice. WGS has a very good rep, and even better prices. If you like the Vintage 30 sound, this will get it. If you find that too bright and harsh, there's other choices. WGS have a lot of Celestion copies to choose from.
