So I scored this 90's Epiphone Les Paul with a Hard shell case for $200 from a local seller via Offerup.

First off, I swapped the stock humbuckers with a pair of High Output Hexbuckers by Guitar Madness. The set was only $25 on eBay! I would highly recommend them! I also upgraded the pots and caps. The knobs were changed to a metal top-hat knobs. I also added a set of thumb-bleeders (indicators)!

I changed the stock tuning machines to a set of Metal Keystone Kluson tuners.

I added a pair of strap locks for extra security!.

Lastly, I installed a TP-6 Tailpiece by Guyker! Super functional! I love it.

Overall, I wanted to achieve a 70's vibe with this guitar. This thing is killer! Thank you for checking it out! Cheers! :hippie:

That's Really sweet.
I'm checking out the Guyker tailpiece...$30?
That's an incredible find.
A decade ago i was in love with getting the Gibson TP-6 for $49
however,
I must've set the alarms off
before I knew it they had doubled in price upwards of $139 for a 'Gold' one

Oh man! That’s quite up there. Yeah, I was happy to see a TP-6 for that affordable. I love the look, functionality, and how much it adds to the overall instrument. I’ve been looking into picking up another MIK Epiphone locally. It’s a sweet 90’s Gold Top Standard. I’m already thinking about what mods I want done to it. :hmm:

I have a "real" Gibson TP-6 that cost like $139 or whatever, and I love it, but they don't make them in black for my other guitar.

A search turned up these "Korean" Guyker TP-6 tailpiece copies in black for $30 and I think I'll try it out. Is it pretty solid? Good tuning? Fast string changing? Worth it?
