Fwiw: make sure the guitar is properly humidified for a at least a couple of months. This should reduce the fret sprout, but probably won't eliminate it all together. Still, you don't want to have the frets or expensive setup done until it is humidified properly.
There is no way this guitar was humidified in the warehouse.
