U know you're getting a great deal when it sez "Call" for the price.

This guitar was owned by a lil ole lady from Cleveland, she just drove it to church and back for the last 56 years.

Hmmmmm.........

Wondering when it'll make an appearance on Pawn Stars.

Suggested story line: Cowtown brings the LP into the shop, asking $600,000 for it. Rick goes on line to check it out by posting pictures to mylespaul.com and the entire host of experts immediately chimes in. The forum reaches a consensus and pegs the guitar as a conversion worth $20k, tops. Rick offers $10k, Cowtown guy has a heart attack and drops dead.

You must have missed the Pawn Stars show this week where they robbed the dude of his granddads 1952 Telecaster for 13K , and Hoss ran over to Cowtown and got paid 30K for it. Wish I could find deals like that. :naughty:

Pawn Stars dickheads need punched in the mouth!

Aren´t most of these episodes staged, at least it´s been proven a few times already? Still it would make for a nice episode if someone did punch them in the mouth.

Someone who takes a guitar that is old and maybe worth money and decides to take it to a pawn shop (just in case they can get on TV) for appraisal and sale deserves to get ripped off. Fool and their valuable vintage guitar are soon parted for 1/3 actual value.

but if it walked into any one of your lives and you knew what it was and what it was worth and had the cash in your pocket, you would all do the same.

Business is business.....you selling? know the value....you buying? know the value.

you get caught?

should have done your home-work.

this ends the lesson.

Hardly how most businesses work. Maybe in Asia, or places where negotiating is the norm. Not the US. Unless of course, it's the music or car industry.
