Think I woulda been napping on the mat after taking one of those punches. Cant believe she actually stayed on her feet in that clip.

As someone posted a one trick pony that has had her trick exposed. Enjoyed watching her get her face beat in. I don't like her ****ty attitude and fake pissed off.

I think her ultimate undoing was sidelining MMA and focusing on being a celebrity. I've been watching UFC since the beginning and there is nothing wrong with losing, or losing two in a row. It's all about how you handle it and she is nothing but a cry baby.

She is obviously a huge draw and people want to see her. The respectful thing she could have done was to interview after the fight instead of storming off like a child. Stand there beside Joe Rogan, thank the fans for their support, your team, say it's great to be back, congratulate the champ, and move on. She has no class whatsoever.

Not to defend her but UFC should have given her a warm up before fighting Nunes because that girl (if you want to call her that) is a monster. She scares me! It's not realistic to expect anyone who has not fought in 12 months to just jump right back in it at the top of the pecking order.

The same thing happened to Jon Jones if anyone saw his fight against OSP after a significant layoff. You could tell he was off the entire fight. I think the same would happen to GSP if he comes back. Give these fighters a good warm up before flashing the belt in their face but Dana obviously doesn't see it that way.

Absolutely Tim. I would add that given her suicide talk after the Holms fight, she had no business in the cage

She got to the top because the competition was terrible. Takedown, armbar, done.

The competition stepped up their game and learned her one trick. She didn't move her head at all last night and Nunes used her face as a punching bag.

You'd have thought she would have gotten at least some boxing training.

At least she has an extra $3 million dollars.

That fight was like Marauders plundering a helpless village.

Which she will now spend to fix her face. Who knows? Maybe fix those ears and get her bewbz done and off to Hollywood! She wouldn't draw me to a movie of any kind, but maybe there's a new Fast & Furious coming out or something.
Her attitude is the worst. If she was humble and determined, I could watch her lose over and over and still kinda root for her. I'm a Chargers fan, after all. Disappointment isn't really foreign to me. But for someone on the verge of aging out, she sure acts like a spoiled child.

So last night ( mostly because it wasn't my T.V. and I didn't have to pay for it ) I watched some of UFC 207....

Did Ronda Rousey not learn anything from when she lost her title? I mean, why not just paint a damn bulls eye on your face. If this was her coaches game plan....well that's ....

Everyone has a game plan till they get a good smack in the teeth and oh well, best laid plans. "Remember Rhonda, always lead with your face" Coach

In her case it all means nothing, she's got enough money to last her a couple of lifetimes from her bait and switch routine. She's bruised but laughing all the way to the bank. Next stop Dancing With The Stars, or if she's already done that, porno!

Meh. MMA is only slightly less scripted than WWE at this point. It is all hype. Storming off and being a bad loser was probably one of the "coached" options if she were to lose.

Also, they had to go right to a big money fight, because, duh, the money. Tune up fight? There's no money in that, and even less if something had gone wrong.

She was an Olympic bronze medalist who somehow managed to ride a single signature move to the top. Once the money started to attract serious, motivated, and hungry athletes into the sport, she got bested, twice, by "nobodys." Looks like she went from overrated and uncontested to second tier. Who knows if this is due to limited ability or failure to train and learn? But she sure took a definitive, clinical beat-down.

Yep, victim of her own success, she helped pave the way.
Brought/raised interest to woman in UFC......
Then the real fighters emerged taking the sport to new levels.

Apparently, standing up and going toe to toe was exactly what her teams game plan was.

"Audio of her much-maligned trainer Edmond Tarverdyan’s instructions during the fight leaked on Friday night and it painted an ugly picture. Tarverdyan essentially repeated “head movement” over and over again, even as Nunes was tagging Rousey with shot after shot.

Nunes criticized Tarverdyan after the fight, saying he had made Rousey think she was a boxer when judo is her strength and it’s hard to disagree."

Body fat. Consequence of age. She lacks body speed because she can't carry the fat. Remember how Rocky trained to win his fights. Nowadays you have to do extreme training, otherwise you get powned.
