so, it's summer already.

i haven't even played that guitar for months.
i have been playing the sg, the lp, the washburn, and the hello kitty.
for some reason i decided to check on her 10 minutes ago.

i just had to take a pic and post it here.

compare the winter pic up there ↑↑↑ with the summer pic down here ↓↓↓

what a difference, huh? :)

That's one of the most messed up things I've ever seen happen to a guitar.

The self fix lmao. I've seen warped necks that bad, but I've never heard of them recovering hahaha.

I like Teledog's suggestions. New neck for the tele and a stabilized environment for your guitars. Good luck!

New neck for the tele

i think i'll just give in and accept this flaw...
after all, i can perfectly use this one as my summer guitar
and the other 6 or 7 as fall/winter/spring guitars...

plus, i wouldn't wanna lose the mojo...

ew, that's not mojo that's filth, skin, sweat, dirt, *shudder*

That's crazy though I've never seen a twisted neck straighten itself like that. That's the BSB Affinity Tele right? It looks nice.

Crazy though, lol.

yeah, i know, i was just having fun... perhaps i should've used purple...

That's crazy though I've never seen a twisted neck straighten itself like that.

if you think about it, if there's something (humidity or whatever) that makes it twist,
then why wouldn't there be something that makes it un-twist?
for without hate there is no love, and without tears there is no joy...

That's the BSB Affinity Tele right?

precisely. it sounds good with the lil'59 in the bridge slot.

It looks nice.

thank you :)

Crazy though, lol.

yeah, none of the other guitars have that problem even though they're stored in the same room and exposed to the same environment.

I put .11 gauge strings on my old Agile LP for a recording and it did that same thing.

Soon as I put .10's back on it it moved back. Freaked me out though.

Do you have big strings on that Tele?

that tele has NEVER seen anything other 11-49 strings tuned to standard D in her life.
except for the factory strings which were promptly removed as soon as i got her, a few years ago.
