Are the Kluson chrome (not green pearl) Tulips on a '77 Deluxe 8.8mm aka 11/32? They're not 10mm, correct?

Also, the finish on these is chrome? Not nickel?

If they have the pressed in bushing they are 8.8mm......

As for the finish on metal tulips they are in fact nickel.

Metal tulip with extra large bushing.........8.8mm in nickel

Thanks... but there's no question on the '77 having nickel vs. chrome?

It looks awfully good for 40+ years to be nickel.

I don't believe i have seen any in Chrome,....but i can't say it never happened....Norlin is some wonky times.

Though nickel can keep it's luster for a long time if polished or kept clean.

Would they be the actual color of a clean vintage nickel at this point? Mine still look like an automotive bumper.

Here's a photo. I put a couple nickels on there to gauge the metal coloring. This is a 1977, so ~45 years old.

now body hardware is not the same as "tuners" in my book.

We have been discussing a specific style tuner from a specific time period etc.

Apples and oranges.

That does look like chrome from here.....
