True Historic Snafu

So, I’ve got a nice True Historic 59 in the shop right now and noticed something odd with the “Les Paul Model” screenprint on the headstock. Looks like they didn’t like the original placement, so they just sprayed black over it and tried again...

Huh....looks funky alright. Then again, I don’t care..... if she plays good and has a great voice,that’s all I need

The silkscreen is not lacquered over, so it is probably just the shadow of the original 'Les Paul Model' silkscreen which was rubbed off.

It JUST the "Paul" part and not the "Les" or the "Model" ???

Its one large silkscreen ….thing....How did they manage that?

It’s the whole thing - just a little more difficult to photograph the “Les” portion. The “MODEL” portion is also there.
