I suppose these would fit peg holes fitted with Tonepros Vintage tuners Gibson puts on guitars since they are the same model?

* WD Music Products - TPK KLUSON® TUNER 3 & 3 BOLT BUSHING METAL KEYSTONE BUTTON CHROME

I think these would be a great alternative to the (Grovers)Gibson modern tuners since one would not have to modify the peg holes when vintage style tuners are used. TPK Klusons only having a smaller tuning ratio, 15:1 vs 18:1 on the Gibson modern tuners although not specified on the site I'm guessing because they are Grovers.

Does anyone have these tuners installed?

Replies appreciated.

I had snot-green Klusons on my 2011 that I switched out with the Gibson/Grover tulips.

No mod necessary! (Just one mounting screw as opposed to two.)

Maybe you mean even older tuners?

That's great! Good to know. I have the TonePros Klusons, the ones with the simulated pearloid translucent keystones. I searched through MLP and it seemed that guitars equipped with Grover kidney tuners would be a direct swap with the modern tulip tuners and there were posts about modifying the peg holes when switching from vintage kluson type tuners to Grovers.

I guess the peg hole sizes may vary on guitars with kluson type tuners.
