...from a real LPJR, and a Saga kit I put together. Both are 24.75" scales with 22 fret necks. Small bit of difference in the two in nut to post spacing and nut to center of pickup spacing. Just want to post these to see if they're in the ballpark of what you guys know.

Saga LPJR
Nut to post 24 5/8"
Nut to center pup 23 1/4"
Post spacing 3 1/4"

Gibson LPJR
Nut to post 24 3/4"
Nut to center pup 23 1/8"
Post spacing 3 1/4"

The Saga is a bolt on and the heel of the neck pocket was 3" just like the Fender Tele.

The nut to post was done by measuring along the neck centerline down to where it intersected a centerline between the center of the bridge post.

the posts really do have some "room for play" in their placement.. mainly due to the bridges ability to be adjusted..

I'm betting that if you check the actual intonation points.. they will be much closer .. though even that can be different just due to different gauge and brand of strings.
also you didn't mention if the Gibson was a new one or an older one.. as Gibson Scales changed a little over the years.

24_3/4" scale is a generic term loosely applied to several different scales. Some may be 24_9/16", others 24_5/8", others truly are 24_3/4", modern Gibsons come in at about 24.57", and older Gibsons can be all over the map.

I've no idea where the Saga boards come in on this scale, but I' guarantee you that they will be different from Gibson's.
