I have another thread for this one that was a new guitar day thread. For pics and specs, please see that thread:

http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/his...-2003-r7-braz-family-pics-6-braz-7-pages.html

The camera in my video made the guitar look a little bland with a little orange / brown mixed in. But trust me, the guitar is candy apple red. You can see the correct color in the thread in the link above.

This is the follow up tone report / demo. I recorded this 3 days ago (Friday night). Tonight I loaded it to youtube. But as soon as it finished processing, they blocked it in the USA. Strange because they did not block the other one I recently did on the Stinger brochure R9......anyway, in recording these solos, more and more I realized how much I had forgotten and my playing had gotten rusty big time. Other than that Stinger video, I have not been playing regularly; not to mention the fact that it has been months since I have played most of the solos in this video. I had to go back and relearn parts of half of them. And in the process, I watched videos I made back when I first learned those solos when I was playing a little more often. (i.e., was learning solos more often, recording them, then forgetting them!) And in the older videos of some of those solos, I think I did a little better job.....but then again, I was playing my #1 in the videos I am referring to. And it just plays easier and nails the right tone.

Speaking of tone, this guitar has some nice Pagey tone. It isn't as Pagey as my Page #1, but it is definitely good Page tone. :D

I wish Alex would let us embed HTML code in this section. Youtube videos automatically embed. It would be nice if we could embed videos from other sites automatically instead of posting a link that opens another tab / window.

So, I am finished making excuses. Here it is:

there may be a commercial before the video. are you getting an error message? try the other link - it is on photobucket but the quality is not quite as good.

ok, now I will attempt to break up the solos into different pieces & see if youtube will allow any of them to stand. i will put generic descriptions on them. my guess is that they can detect the ones that have LZ backing tracks. but cover backing tracks may stay as long as i do not use a description.

i think i finally got the Rover solo right after all these years.

Either people have gone away from the forum for the holidays or else they don't care about this guitar! or braz R7s!

newbie question of the day. How do those things work? you plug the combo output into the brake, then the brake to the speaker? Essentially inserting it serially between the amp and the speaker? How do you like it? I might be interested in something like this for my Mark V combo.

I like it; many people hate it. it works good for my setup. it is obviously made for tube amps; gets the tubes glowing red hot while backing off the volume.
