Tone Pot replacement

I have a 2002 Gibson Les Paul Studio , I need to replace one of the tone pots , there are no part numbers etc on it , Can someone tell me what I would need to order? Thanks for any help.

You will need the long shaft pots.

All the USA line LPs with carved tops use long shaft pots.

2002.. tone puts might be 300k???

It doesn’t say on the one that’s in there. Will it work if I put a 500 in ?
Yes. Usually tone pots are 500k. It’s the volume pots that can sometimes be 300k.

Or you can put a new 500K harness in and be done with it! Ask Jonesy he'll set you up.

Do you have a multi-meter? If your volume pots are 300K I'd replace the lot.

Even if the factory pot is a 300k, if I was gonna replace it, I’d go with a 500k.
