A well made video that shows some really nice Vintage Bursts.
Tom is always welcome at MLP to comment, but I guess they
keep him pretty busy over there.
Thanks for posting it!

We would love to have Tom share his knowledge of Vintage Guitars
with us, and the offer is always out there. You have to admit, we have
the easiest registration process of any guitar websight on the internet!
We can’t force people to join if they don’t want to.

I can say from recent experience that TW is not only extremely knowledgeable, but is a very helpful and trustworthy. He would be an asset here.

Tom is from Missouri.

He has a very strong and loyal connection to the LPF. He has a business and a life :) and I don't think he wants to spend any more time on the internet than he has to.

Tom is the vintage moderator at the "LES PAUL FORUM", and I don't think he will do more than look at this forum from time to time.

He's not a moderator.

He's the "Host"...whatever that means. And I agree, he'd be a great addition here, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have the time to share his knowledge with more than one forum.

Frank, I was trolling for you on the other Les Paul forum, check out my Stripe pdf for great close ups of the 'damage'.

You really need to replicate 'Stripe' my friend, I do not have the connections or wherewithal to do it.
If you have the 2010 Montreux GM DVD, the 1997 bonus tracks with Stripe show it's hidden flame to an awesome degree. PM me man

Tom is very private and frankly keeps out of the internet mess for the most part.
I have sent him CD's and DVD's of rare GM and BBM material, plus PG's Fleetwood Mac.
He has given me an open invitation to stop in at Third Eye to play those amazing Bursts. If only I could travel to Missouri, it's on the bucket list though.
What was a revelation though was to see Tom in the "Historic" section over there. As Gibson is doing his Sandy for Collector's Choice #3 I think it is.
