Yes ,It is one of the best looking koa les pauls i have seen..I spotted that a few days ago being advertised on e-bay..I caught my attention ,eye popping candy

I had a look ,It is awesome !But laminated top.

yeah, veneer does not bug me at all, and it does seem like not much more than an ls98f. oh well, i really don't buy new guitars.... not worth the hit for something i may have to resell in the future

My only gripe is the yellowish finish. IMO Koa should be left natural.

Only problem is I can find zero reviews about them. Like, I can find loads of articles about the LS90 (and generally everyone agrees it's great), but next to nothing about the lc118.

Does any have one of these? Prefer it to the LS90?

All Tokai reviews are the same, whether it's a review about the LS92/98/105/118 or LS160/150AAA, etc.
The necks are all the same, the fretwork is always perfect, the finish is consistently excellent, they play the same, feel the same, and they all sound VERY GOOD.
Most important...they can all be setup to perfection by a good guitar tech.

So when you want to buy one just choose your favourite colour, no need to worry whether it's an LS92 or LC118.
