Tokai 1981 ls SR 335

Considering a Tokai 1981 LS 1++ 335 style. Did all the reading on here, but I'd like some advice. Neck shape and size are really my only considerations. Any feedback appreciated.

Do you mean an ES-100 or 150? I've owned it own 3 from 81, an ES-100 and 2 ES-150s, one of which I still have. None of the necks were particularly large. The ES100 had smallest neck, it was fairly narrow at the nut and thinner than the rest. The 150 I have now has a slightly larger neck with a nut width of 1.64"and a thickness at the 1st fret of .86". I would honestly prefer if it were a little larger, but the guitar is so good otherwise, I'm just going to learn to live with it.

Same. My ‘81 ES100 has a narrow nut and slim neck. It’s my best sounding and all time favorite guitar.

I don't think that's an '81 model. I think it's from 2010. But, yeah, it looks like a nice one and a good deal at that price.
