Got home from work and discovered the suet feeder was empty. Yesterday evening there was at least a quarter of it left. It's full now. Topped off the sunflower seeds in the other feeder. Should be good to go for a few days.

On the way home from work.
Get a call from an 833 number.
I figured it was spam and let it go to VM.
As soon as I get the VM alert tone, I get a text message from Ring, an email, and a push alert from the app that there's flooding in my upstairs bathroom.
Fuck.
Text the wife.
No response.
Call.
No answer.
Nothing on the downstairs motion sensors... the only GOOD news is neither of the kitchen flood sensors are going off, so at least whatever it is hasn't penetrated the floor and kitchen ceiling.... and countertop
Bring up the back yard camera. Nope... she's not messing with her garden.

45-freaking-minutes later, phone rings.
"Hey honey, whacha doin? You called?"
Uhhh... ya... are you home?
I'm cleaning the bathroom.

She splashed mop water on the sensor that is on the floor behind the can
I thought the hose had blown.

It's worth over $320k
HOA dues are $350.

check the property taxes on that place, it's crazy.

what i'd save in property tax would pay the mortgage for 3 months a year.
I'm under Prop-13 on my 1994 valuation of $60k.
I'm paying $1100/year.
If I had bought it this year, I'd be at closer to $4,000
Ya... That place at $94/mo? That's what I'm paying now.
