Sparrows love gathering in the forsythia (?) and going to the feeder and back.
When hawks were in the neighborhood, one would come down like a rocket and just go crashing into the bush.
Come out with a sparrow, sure enough.
Then birds would be scarce for several days.
Hawks weren't around much last year, haven't heard them even.

Replaced some light switches today.
Now the Amazon surveillance device can turn my front porch light off and on at sunrise and sunset.
I've tried lights with photocells and they always end up flashing all night because of the light reflected back from the building.

Also converted some of the WiFi switches to Zigbee... maybe now I can still use voice command when my internet is down?

our hawk population as asploded in the past few years.
