I’ve dealt with that kind of clown. The ass was in another office and bullying my team there around. So besides making my team feel really uncomfortable he was trying to get them to do things his way without the senior team knowing it. So I drove the several hours to that office and did a surprise visit to my team. That turd denied everything and blamed the others and made like he was my best buddy. A quick web search found that he had a restraining order against him for cyber-stalking which he didn’t tell HR about which got him escorted out of the building minus his badge.

Yep. Cancelled for And Justice For All having no bass. Cancelled for the Black album being a "sell out" album. Cancelled for cutting their hair and just in general for Load/Reload. Cancelled for Napster. Cancelled for trash can drums and no solos on St Anger.

Metallica fans are giving Star Wars fans a run for their money in the "who has more hate for the thing they love" category.

The general treatment of Newsted was pretty shitty. And even though I like "My Friend of Misery", I think they should have let Newsted have his instrumental on the Black album as he originally wanted it to be.

Not only was it bad for Newkid... but very bad for the fans at the time. People were frothing at the mouth for the next real Metallica LP to follow up MoP... and it was intentionally gimped.

and going from a kickass thrash album like Justice to the Black album to: We're going to have Cum and Blood on the cover and call the album 'Load', was so gross and also fucking lame.

Metallica started off the 90's pretty strong with the Black album but holy shit did it all go downhill fast.

That last album with Hardwired and Moth to Flame was their first good album in like 20 years.

But in reality "Metallica" stopped being Metallica after Justice. But Kill Em All to Justice was one hell of an incredible run.
