once they bite they just sit there and suck, Then they swell up with blood. If they are on you for a while youll see a big grey swollen looking thing hanging off you.

We get ticks on us all the time out here in the country. You don't need any fancy shit to get them off....just reach up and grab them and tug them off. Don't squeeze their bodies and don't leave the head. Wash the area and put something on it to help disinfect.

Instances of sickness in humans due to ticks is rather low....I have literally had hundreds of them on me in my lifetime, and my dad has had way more than me...they can leave a nasty wound behind but they are mostly just pests. Nothing to completely panic over.

I had one on me once--for 3 or 4 days.

I had showered and washed my hair in that time (I got it out camping--away from showers & tubs.)

It was discovered while getting a haircut--it was just wondering around in my hair and never burrowed in. It would have sucked if I had been bald--which I suppose makes sense in more ways than one...

I'm pretty sure you can drown them in the bathtub

Submerge everything except your head and take a nap

Especially if they are hanging from your balzac. In the event that they start sucking the blood from there, be very, very careful. You don't want to walk into the emergency room either with two tick heads stuck to your balls or bleeding like mad because you missed the tick head with the tweezers and clipped an artery there. No worries. It'll be fine. :D

It's true folks, The ticks go for your crotch when they can get there. Warm, sweaty and hairy. Great to hide in. Plus you cannot see all that well down there. Perfect spot for a parasite.

A friend of mine had Lyme disease because he missed finding a tick on his sack. He's still not right. The disease messed him up.

An eight year old girl friend of my daughter's had one in her crotch at the Girl Scout campout a few weeks back. They go for the crotch folks and they want your blood!

You should be able to get a special tool for removing ticks from your local pet shop.

+1 on vacuuming.

That is one thing the Army leaves out of the recruiting video is the tick checks in the field.
