There is another thread titled how old are you. Did you tell the truth over there? Move power to you. That's a bridge to far for me. I don't have the guts to do that, not even where it will never be seen.

hey Allgatorbling-- it's awesome. Do what you love and makes one happy. My nephew has anxiety attacks, he now sports a "Don't Panic" tat on his arm to remind him

idk man, getting a colorful cartoon in black & white seems wrong. :laugh2: It's like a black and white rainbow or something,..some things need color to be proper.

You do you though, you be you.

Keep some sunblock on your ink and the color should stay really well. I barely do that anymore and even in south Florida it still looks great. When I put a little lotion on it it looks new.

true... but having a full color sponge bob with 13 other tattoos that are all black ink would just seem odd to me.

When I was in the Air Force I was on a bus from Camp Bullis for training back to Lackland AFB. On the bus I took off my cover, and one of the girls yelled out that I looked like a baby chicken who just got out of the egg. So naturally my nickname was Chicken Head, and that stuck for a while. After training I was stationed with a ton of people who I trained with so Chicken Head followed, but it was replaced with Chicken Hawk. I really want to get a tattoo of this guy probably in a different pose.

I would want him in BDU pants with boots with a spit shine on the toe, an M-16, and a blue beret. Here’s the problem. The term “chicken hawk” has two definitions, and they are both terrible!

1. Man who likes little boys.

2. Politicians who while would never join the military themselves, love sending the men and women who did to war.

Neither of these are things I want to be associated with. Still though, I really want the tattoo.

I'd opt for a third eye in the forehead instead. If done correctly, think what an ice breaker that would be.

And hey, what about that new Drivers License Photo. That would be special ..
or an atom, like Doctor Manhattan

I still think of that tiny hawk, chasing the humongous rooster with a baseball bat :D

Have a couple tattoos myself but no cartoon characters. For comic relief? Why not!
30 years ago, when I worked around a lot of sailors, one young kid got a Bart Simpson. Might have just been his peer group, but he got teased unmercifully for that tattoo!
