All my best to your friend and yourself.
People have beaten cancer before.
Lets all hope that your friend is one of them.

And I'm one of the tinfoil hat people that think that a cure has been found but the pharma companies make more money treating it than curing it.
OTC drugs that help the symptoms associated with the common cold is a HUGE (in the billions I'm sure) industry.
I don't know if a cure has been found, but if or when a cure for that is found, its likely that the cure will not be released to the public.

Can someone tell me why we as a human race, that can send a man to the moon and back, build and maintain a space station where people pretty much live, just to name a couple of remarkable accomplishments can't find a cure for cancer!

My guess is that we have, but big pharma buys the patents and prevents it from being brought out to the people who need it so they can continue to produce/sell their drugs!!

My best friend of 37 years was told 2 weeks ago that he has liver/colon/brain cancer and they are giving him 4 months to live if he chooses not to take the chemo-therapy and maybe 6 months if he takes it! He has chosen not to prolong his suffering.

My heart is crushed and I dread the next few weeks/months!

Sorry for your loss, man. You already know the answer, but I'll sum it up as this:

Money. There is much more to be made in treatment than in cures.

Long day, my friend slipped into a coma today, hospice says his systems are starting to shut down! At least he isn't feeling the pain any more!

I lost my brother-in-law last year to cancer.
Way too early. His mother was at his funeral, devastated.

He was an artist, a painter. Oil, acrylic, water colors, you name it he was at the top of his game.
But cancer came, disappeared after a 10 hours operation and came back 6 months later.
Bye my friend, it was nice knowing you.

Cancer is a bitch.

My best to you in these rough times.

My condolences for you and your friend.

Curing cancer is simple, but not economically viable. The simple cure is to stop poisoning the people. Then most of the cancer would disappear.

My grandfather died of cancer when I was far too young to understand anything. Years later, my mom, aunt, and grandmother were talking about Grandpa Kep (his last name was Keppler). My grandmother got a pained expression on her face and said, "Cancer is the most horrible thing in the world." I'll never forget that look.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

Well he's at peace now. He passed away at about 2am this morning, I wouldn't doubt he's jamming with the greats now!

I'd like to request prayers for his wife and family as this all happened so fast it took everyone by surprise.

Very sad and you have my sympathies, i too will bury my friend next Tuesday who had very much the same condition as your friend a brain tumour. He was told in December he likely had 3 months tops, he died last Tuesday. He was 60. RIP Frankie.

Also my dad died yesterday of old age, he was 92 god bless him. :sadwave:
