AI wants you to believe it isn't real so you think it's fake which means it's really real and you won't ever know if anything is real or AI gen'd.... That's when AI closes in for the kill.... You won't even see SkyNet coming....

When I was a kid, I was told to turn off the lights to help “save the planet”.

Like it was my duty to save energy and that would fix things.

Today I found out the basic AI I use at work uses enough electricity every year to power five homes.

Saying “Please” and “Thank you” when conversing with AI costs tens of millions of dollars in electricity every year.

How's the country and especially California going to keep up with the electrical needs of AI?

Nuke. It's the only thing I see that will provide the required amount of electrical demand.

The worst of AI...scrubbing the truth.

The best of AI...finding the truth.

Like everything in life, it all depends on who is using it.

Funny, this dilemma almost mirrors my imaging work.
I use many digital applications, to enhance what is true...but measured by a gold standard, verifiable raw data. Never print a lie, so easy with digital apps.

Verification, what is real, has never been more important.
