It's like they said "Ok, we tried doing something new with the FirebirdX and it was terrible, so we'll just go back to making Les Pauls since that's what we're good at. But we've already released and re-released the same LP over and over again so we need to make this one different. I know, lets put a weird headstock on it, change the arragement of the knobs for no reason, and add a slider."
