Isn't that the only booster Blue Origin has (or had) right now?
That's going to put a damper on the celebrity carnival rides.... legally for some time... and may cause some customers to think twice.

This kind of BS is what got us so complacent that we decided to send a civilian teacher into space... and proceed to blow her up on live TV in front of her classroom.
Space is hard, and it needs to be taken seriously. It's not, and never will be a carnival ride.

Well said, and all true.

Space X Falcon 9 finally got off tonight, after numerous weather delays.
The conditions tonight were perfect.

they're trying to heat up that coupling to see if it expands enough to seal the leak.

if a bunch of lox flows out or it blows, then all bets are off for launch anytime soon.

The leak is still there, not sure what the next steps are.

A friend who works there says the fittings are so old, being leftovers from the shuttle days, that the O’rings are failing when super cooled by the fuel.

Was budgeted to be a 10B dollar project, and now rapidly approaching 100B.
Meanwhile, Space X just keeps going and going and going on budgets in the millions. Not Billions.

Looking forward to Starship doing an orbital flight soon. We need a dragon capsule flight on top of Falcon Heavy to do a lunar orbit mission.

You've gotta' know Elon is thinking just that.

Hell... the Falcon-heavy is only 90 million.
He should land a Roadster on the Moon :D
